We specialize in custom quilts and will work with you to make a treasured heirloom. Looking for a quilt for a wedding for quests to sign? Maybe a new bed quilt to match your decor or theme? New baby on the way and a special color and theme already picked out? Reach out and we will work with you to match your needs. How it works: use the contact us page on our website. Fill out the form and provide us with some specifics of what you are looking for. If you have a specific design, colors, size or need please provide those details in the comment box. We will reach out within 3 business days to begin the design process. We will work with you and have you approve the design and fabric selection or you can put your trust in us to complete it. Pricing will be provided and is based on complexity and size of the finished quilt.

T-Shirt Quilts
Depends on # of T-shirts
T-shirt quilts are a favorite at The Quilted Penguin. How does it work? Gather up your favorite t-shirts, especially the must-haves, for your quilt. Let us know how many must-haves you picked out (each side counts as 1- so if you want both the front and the back used please count as 2). We typically will ask you to send along a few extras in case we have some extra space. Typical t-shirt quilts have around 18 pieces but can be bigger or smaller depending on your needs. Then we will have you ship your t-shirts to us. We will begin design work as soon as they arrive. Please note thick or puffy vinyl on shirts will not be accepted as these cause damage to our equipment. Only cotton t-shirts are acceptable. Any wicking fabrics or polyester/spandex materials will not hold up to the quilting process. If you are unsure about a shirt we will have you send some pictures and we can help determine if they can be used. Pricing will depend on the overall size of the resulting quilt. This category is a bucket of endless creativity and fun for The Quilted Penguin. Are you getting married? We can make seating charts, favor tags or signs. Is your little one having a themed birthday and you want custom shirts? What about a special event or birthday and looking for a unique gift. We could go on for days. Due to all the possibilities we will work with you to develop what you need. We will provide pricing for your specific project once we know more. Please note we will collect 50% of total project cost before we can procure specialized items.
